How to Correctly Calibrate an Electronic Measuring Instrument

The development of information technology has expanded the application scenarios of parameter measurement and expanded the application requirements. In order to obtain higher precision, faster speed and more functional measurement results, electronic measuring instruments have emerged. Long-term use will definitely have errors. Need to do daily correction work.

1. The manufacturer of capacitance tester introduces the calibration of level gauge. After placing the instrument, hang a vertical ball in the distance, collimated the vertical line, move the crosshairs up and down, observe the coincidence of the crosshairs vertical line with the vertical line, if offset, the crosshairs need to be corrected, loosen the crosshairs fixing screw beside the telescope eyepiece, rotate the crosshairs reticle as a whole, and make the crosshairs vertical line coincide with the vertical line.

2. Correction of theodolite. For the round level, when the instrument is leveled, the pipe level bubble is centered in any direction and the round level bubble is offset, the round level bubble needs to be corrected, and the correction method is the same as that of the round level.

During the leveling process of the instrument, when the bubble of the instrument level is centered, make any two leg spirals of the tube level and the base parallel to each other, adjust the two leg spirals to center the bubble of the tube level, rotate the instrument by 180 °, and observe whether the bubble of the tube level is centered. If the bubble offset exceeds the division value of the tube level, the tube level needs to be corrected.

3. The manufacturer of capacitance tester introduces the correction of total station. The calibration of the total station is basically the same as that of the theodolite, which is also the contents of the counter, round level, tube level, 2C and index difference. Due to the continuous updating and development of measuring instruments and equipment, the correction method of the total station has also undergone great changes.
