The loop resistance tester is accurate in measurement and stable in performance. It is suitable for on-site high-voltage switch maintenance and loop testing in the power and power supply departments. However, due to the influence of different factors, some faults often occur. As professionals, they need to know how to solve them.
loop resistance tester fault:
1. Fault: According to the manufacturer of the inductance tester, press the "test switch" of the loop resistance tester. The ammeter shows no current, and the high position of the micro-ohm meter shows "1". Reason: 100A current circuit is not connected properly. The switch under test is not closed. Exclusion method: check the test line, reconnect and reclamp. Switch on.
2. Fault: The test current of the loop resistance tester is normal, and the high position of the micro-ohm value shows "1". Reason: the voltage clamp position is wrong. The measured circuit resistance value exceeds 2000 Ω. The voltage signal line is broken or not connected.
Exclusion method: deal with the voltage signal circuit, clamp pair and clamp the voltage clamp. Over-range: multimeter can be used to measure P1, P2 voltage value, resistance value = voltage value/current value.
3. Failure of loop resistance tester: The loop resistance tester is connected to 220V AC power supply, the fan has no running sound, and the "test switch" is pressed, and the ammeter and micro-ohm meter have no display. Reason: 220V AC power supply is not available, and the safety tube is not installed or fused.
Exclusion method: check and exclude. (100A instrument insurance is not less than 6A. Contact the manufacturer to solve it again. (Never access DC or 380V AC power).
The problems that need to be paid attention to in the introduction of the inductance tester manufacturer are: the function switch must be set to zero before starting up. After starting up, be sure to pay attention to whether the normal indicator light on the front panel of the instrument is on. If it is not on, it means that the loop resistance tester is not working properly and should be shut down immediately.
